About this role
Mission Statement
- To maintain all plant equipment in a safe, compliant, and reliable condition while promoting a culture of preventive maintenance, risk reduction, and sustainable engineering practices.
- To provide timely maintenance services that enhance plant productivity which also supports to organization's operational goals.
- Executes the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with HITACHI Energy standard processes and safety guidelines.
- The job includes regular standard maintenance of the equipment.
- Routine maintenance activities in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
- Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.

- Track maintenance KPIs like MTBF, MTTR, downtime and spare parts usage·Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns·Good basic communication skills to co-ordinate with cross functional team
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues·To handle shifts individually
- Basic knowledge of 5S activities·Maintain machine checklist and record machine historyYour Background
- Diploma or Degree with Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
- 4-5 years of working experience as Shop Engineering preferably in Transformer Industry
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
