Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose industrial vacuum pumps during repair and maintenance.
• Dismantle, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble pump mechanical components.
• Pump casing, rotor, gear box, bearings, seals, O-rings, valves, and other mechanical parts.
• Perform manual rotor rotation checks and identify abnormal noise or mechanical issues.
• Support troubleshooting of pump overload, rotor jamming, cooling-water problems, N flow issues, abnormal noise, and other faults.
• Check pump inlet/exhaust connections, filters, flanges, and O-rings during maintenance.
• Maintain repair records, inspection reports, replaced-parts records, and testing reports.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance and industrial pumps.
• Practical experience in pump dismantling and assembly.
• Knowledge of mechanical seals, O-rings, bearings, gears, shafts, rotors, and lubrication systems.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic/water piping and cooling systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
• Basic troubleshooting and root-cause identification skills.
• Good knowledge of measuring tools and mechanical hand tools.
