Maintenance Engineer - Preform (Glass)

Role & responsibilities

• Handle OVD process equipment, Sintering furnace systems,Burner systems, Chemical/gas delivery systems, Motion control systems,Cleanroom manufacturing
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure reliable equipment operation and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, and HMI-related issues.
• Attend equipment breakdowns, alarms, and PLC interlocks to restore operations quickly.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, VFDs, servo drives, pumps, compressors, vacuum systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Monitor sensors, transmitters, control valves, and process control systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain utility systems, including gas delivery, chillers, cooling systems, and cleanroom support equipment.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, downtime records, and equipment history.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, LOTO, permit-to-work, and plant EHS requirements.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Experience in automation-based manufacturing industries is mandatory.
• Exposure to cleanroom, chemical process, glass, semiconductor, optical fiber, or specialty manufacturing industries preferred
