Maintenance Engineer -(Oragadam)

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving plant machinery and equipment. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, equipment reliability, root-cause analysis, and ensuring minimal machine downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and restore machines with minimum downtime.
• Handle maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, grinding, hobbing, shaping, and other machining equipment.
• Inspect and maintain gearboxes, bearings, shafts, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, and mechanical assemblies.
• Identify recurring equipment failures and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
• Monitor machine condition and identify potential failures before breakdowns.
• Coordinate with production and other departments for maintenance activities.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement activities.
• Maintain adequate spare parts and coordinate with vendors for critical components.
