Maintenance Engineer - Laboratory

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot diagnostic laboratory equipment(Analyzers).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of instruments and associated systems.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers, authorized service engineers, and vendors for repairs and technical support.
• Maintain equipment records, service reports, maintenance schedules, and breakdown logs.
• Ensure timely calibration and validation of laboratory equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring technical issues.
• Support laboratory staff in the safe and correct operation of equipment.
• Conduct basic user training for laboratory technicians on equipment operation and safety.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality, safety, and equipment-management procedures.
• Maintain spare-parts inventory and coordinate procurement when required.
• Assist with installation and qualification of new equipment.
• Participate in audits and provide required equipment-related documentation.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize laboratory downtime
