About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, REXX, and VSAM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects and implement fixes during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase.
- Conduct regression testing on existing systems to ensure compatibility with new releases or changes.
- Analyze system logs and troubleshoot issues related to mainframe application performance.
Job Requirements :
- 4-10 years of experience in mainframe testing with expertise in COBOL programming language.
- Strong understanding of CICS transaction processing systems and ability to write efficient JCL jobs.
- Proficiency in REXX scripting language for automating tasks and developing custom scripts.
- Experience with UAT methodology for functional testing of complex software applications.
