Job Summary

We are hiring a Software Engineer Core Banking with 2 to 5 years of experience in COBOL, Oracle SQL/DB2 and Unix Shell Scripting/JCL.

The role involves techno-functional application support, SQL analysis, defect troubleshooting and production/SIT/UAT support for Core Banking applications.

Mandatory Skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide techno-functional support for Core Banking applications.
• Analyze and execute SQL queries for investigation, validation and issue resolution.
• Analyze and troubleshoot defects across SIT, UAT and Production environments.
• Support COBOL-based applications and perform application-level issue analysis.
• Investigate incidents and defects and drive issues through to closure.
• Coordinate with development, testing, business and technology teams for resolution.
• Perform production support activities and provide timely incident/issue updates.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely closure.
• Participate in shift-based support as required.
