About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and deploy COBOL programs for batch processing on IBM Mainframes (AS400) using JCL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet customer needs.
- Develop complex database queries using DBMS tools such as CICS to extract data from various sources.
- Troubleshoot issues related to program execution, data integrity, and system performance.
Job Requirements :
- 7-16 years of experience in IT Services & Consulting industry with expertise in AS400/Mainframe development.
- Strong knowledge of COBOL programming language and its applications in batch processing.
- Proficiency in developing JCL jobs for job scheduling and execution on IBM Mainframes.
- Experience working with DBMS systems like CICS for querying large datasets.
