Mainframe Developer

Key Skills Required:

• Mainframes
• CICS Webservices
• COBOL, JCL, DB2, Scheduler, Connect Direct etc

Role & responsibilities

• Experience working in ZOS connect EE and DB2 Rest and extensive knowledge in CICS webservices
• Development experience using FileAid, Xpeditor, IBM explorer for ZOS, Visual studio.
• Proficient with SOAP, WSDL and JSON. A comprehensive understanding of SOA and Restful APIs
• Experience of working with code repositories, bug tracking tools and wikis Tools - Gitlab, Endevor, JIRA, Confluence
• Knowledge of different security integration patterns such as basic authentication, client authentication (MATLS) and Oauth(JWT)
• Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets and methodologies CICD practices, Jenkins.

Desirable skills:

• Java skill set
• Strong foundation in Java including OOP, functional programming (java 8+)
• Familiarity with Spring Boot's annotations, configuration, and how it simplifies Spring application setup and deployment.
• Restful API development experience.

• Hands-on experience using DataPower appliances
• Development experience using XSLT, Gateway Script and XPath
