Mainframe Automation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Automation Engineer to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and availability of z/OS environments through automation solutions. The role involves migrating CA OPS/MVS Event Management and Automation to IBM Tivoli System Automation, developing REXX scripts, and automating routine operational tasks, system monitoring, and incident management.

1. Automation Product Migration

• Lead or support migration from CA automation products to IBM automation solutions.

  4. Incident Problem Management
• Provide L2/L3 production support for automation-related incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Ensure timely incident resolution in accordance with agreed SLAs.

• Raise and implement changes through the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process.
• Maintain automation scripts, system configurations, and operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and organisational standards.
