Machinist Operator

1. Role Purpose

To safely and efficiently operate shop floor machinery (such as CNC, VMC, Turning, Drilling Bush pressing) to manufacture precision metal components. You will undergo a structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) program for 4 weeks and daily machine maintenance, to turn you into a multi-skilled Machinist.

2. Minimum Qualifications

Education: ITI Certification (Machinist, Turner, or Fitter trade) OR Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering

Technical Knowledge:

• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical engineering drawings.
• Fundamental understanding of machining processes (turning, milling, drilling).
• Basic mathematical aptitude for calculating tolerances and offsets.
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments & Gauges (Vernier, Micrometer, Dials & Attribute Gauges)
