Team Lead Production Machining

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in production machining and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• CNC/VMC Programming & Operation: Write, test, and optimize CNC and VMC programs; manage independent handling and operation of robotic automation systems.
• Drawing & Design Verification: Interpret complex engineering drawings and utilize AutoCAD for drafting, design checks, and modifications.
• New Product Development (NPD) & Prove-Out: Lead part prove-outs against engineering drawings, supporting new product launches from setup to final approval.
• Process Knowledge & Maintenance: Oversee machining, grinding, and painting processes; troubleshoot and maintain fixtures, hydraulic systems, pneumatic units, and tooling setups.
• Team Leadership & Communication: Lead, mentor, and coordinate daily floor operations while maintaining clear communication across cross-functional engineering and management teams.

Technical Skills:

• CNC/VMC Programming & Troubleshooting
• AutoCAD (2D Drafting & Interpretation)
• Engineering Drawing Reading & Interpretation
• Fixtures, Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Tooling Maintenance
• Robotic System Handling
• Quality Systems: IATF 16949 & Six Sigma methodologies
• Exposure to Grinding, Machining, and Painting processes
• Soft Skills: Strong technical problem-solving, team leadership, and communication skills.
