Machine Shop Planning -Assistant Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan production activities to meet customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery of products.
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
  
• Monitor and control inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  
• Develop and maintain accurate production schedules, including labor allocation and resource planning.
  
• Collaborate with quality assurance team to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10-15 years of experience in machine shop planning or a related field (production management).
  
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) or equivalent qualification.
  
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, including time study analysis and work measurement techniques.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel) for data analysis and reporting purposes.
