Machine Operator , Site Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

Machine Operator :

• Operate roofing sheet production and forming machines safely and efficiently.
• Set up machines according to production requirements and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and production output.
• Check finished roofing sheets for dimensions, quality, and defects.
• Maintain consistent production quality and minimize material wastage.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine issues to the maintenance team.
• Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic machine maintenance.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets.
• Maintain proper records of production, material usage, and machine issues.
• Follow all company health, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Coordinate with the production supervisor and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Site Supervisor:

• Supervise daily roofing installation and site activities.
• Allocate work to workers and subcontractors and monitor their performance.
• Ensure roofing work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure project schedules are maintained.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients at the site.
• Check measurements, material requirements, and installation quality.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of roofing materials.
• Monitor manpower, tools, machinery, and equipment at the site.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day site issues and report major issues to management.
• Conduct regular quality checks and ensure work meets company standards.
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
• Prepare daily site reports covering manpower, progress, materials, and issues.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available when required.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain an organized worksite.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably in roofing, construction, steel structures, or industrial projects.
• Good knowledge of roofing installation and construction site practices.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Strong manpower and subcontractor management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
