Machine Operator (Fresher)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Machine Operation & Production Execution: Set up, calibrate, and operate assigned industrial machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job orders.
• Load raw materials into machines and monitor automated manufacturing processes for smooth operation and minimal downtime.
• Adjust machine settings, feeds, speeds, and controls to maintain specified tolerances and production standards.
• Quality Inspection & Dimension Verification: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and plug gauges.
• Perform routine first-piece, in-process, and final quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering drawings.
• Identify and isolate defective or out-of-tolerance components, reporting recurring quality issues to the shift supervisor.
• Preventive Maintenance & Workplace Safety: Perform basic daily preventive maintenance (TPM) on equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, oil top-ups, and minor mechanical checks.
• Troubleshoot minor operational glitches and coordinate with the maintenance team for major machine breakdowns.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to 5S principles and strictly follow personal protective equipment (PPE) and plant safety guidelines.
