Machine Learning Engineer - IV (Fraud)

Responsibilities:

• Model Ownership and Development: Develop, maintain, and own core computer vision models for Jumio's identity verification and fraud detection offerings.
• Deep Learning and Algorithm Design: Implement ML/DL and classical CV solutions to detect deepfakes, synthetic data, and generative AI manipulation.
• Deployment and Monitoring: Deploy models as AWS SageMaker endpoints or on-device microservices, ensuring production monitoring and MLOps best practices.
• Research and Agile Collaboration: Conduct applied research using academic papers and collaborate with product managers and engineers in an Agile environment.

Requirements:

• Experience and Education: 6+ years of commercial ML/DL experience (or 2+ years with a Master's degree) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• Must-Have Expertise: Direct experience training deep learning models for deepfake, synthetic data, or generative AI data detection.
• Technical Stack: Strong production Python skills with PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and AWS/GCP cloud environments.
• Product Alignment: Proven ability to translate ML metrics into product goals and monitor live production models.
• Great-to-Have: Exposure to LLMs/VLMs, image/video generation, and on-device/edge model deployment.
