Job Summary
We are looking for a System Design Engineer with a strong mechanical design background to conceptualize, design, and develop laser-based machines and automation systems used in pharmaceutical, automotive, and industrial applications.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, production, and RD to turn concepts into production-ready systems. Experience in SolidWorks/Inventor, machine design, and industrial automation is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design laser-based machinery and automation systems using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/Inventor).
- Create detailed 2D drawings with GDT, BOMs, exploded views, and assembly documentation.
- Perform strength, motion, and thermal simulations where required using simulation tools.
- Select mechanical elements like bearings, gearboxes, couplings, actuators, and linear motion components.
- Generate design documentation: technical specs, calculations, revision history, and risk analysis reports.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and production teams for integrated system development.
