Luxury Consignment Manager

Role Description This is a full time on site role for a Luxury Consignment Manager at The Luxurypop Mumbai. The Luxury Consignment Manager will oversee the end-to-end consignment process, including evaluating incoming items, coordinating intake, and managing pricing and listing strategies for preloved luxury products. Daily responsibilities include reviewing item photos and descriptions, authenticating or coordinating authentication of designer goods, setting competitive resale prices, and preparing product listings for the online platform. The role will also involve communicating with consignors, answering questions about the consignment process, and providing updates on item status and payouts. The Luxury Consignment Manager will collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to optimize inventory turnover, maintain brand standards, and ensure a seamless experience for buyers and sellers. Salary - 45k starting

Qualifications

• Experience with luxury fashion, resale, or consignment, including familiarity with major designer brands, product categories, and market pricing.
• Strong skills in item evaluation and authentication, with attention to detail in assessing condition, quality, and brand-specific features.
• Comfort using online platforms and tools for listing management, pricing, and communication; google sheets,shopify
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with consignors, internal teams, and customers in a clear, professional manner.
• Excellent organizational skills and management follow up skills to handle multiple consignments, track inventory status, and meet deadlines in a hustling environment.
• Customer-centric approach, with the ability to provide supportive, solution-oriented service to both buyers and sellers.
• Prior experience in e-commerce, fashion merchandising, or luxury goods is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, solution finder and making sure tasks are done even during times of pressure.
