Luxury Car Evaluator

Role & responsibilities

1. Vehicle Inspection & Evaluation:

- Conduct a detailed 150+ point inspection of used cars (exterior, interior, engine, electrical, suspension).

- Check for accidental history, paint thickness, meter tampering, engine condition and chassis number.

- Perform test drives to assess engine, gearbox, brakes, and suspension performance.

2. Valuation & Pricing:

- Determine the fair market value of the car based on model, year, kilometers driven, condition, and market demand.

- Prepare and upload accurate evaluation reports with photos and videos on the company portal/app.

- Stay updated with current market prices of used cars.

3. Customer Interaction:

- Explain the evaluation process and valuation to customers in a transparent manner.

- Handle customer queries and negotiate to close the deal at the best price.

- Ensure a professional and positive customer experience.

4. Documentation & Verification:

- Verify all car documents - RC, Insurance, PUC, Service History, NOC, Loan details.

- Ensure all evaluation photos, videos and documents are uploaded correctly.

- Coordinate with the documentation team for any discrepancies.

5. Coordination & Reporting:

- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement and Workshop teams.

- Share daily evaluation reports with the reporting manager.

- Achieve daily/monthly evaluation targets.

Preferred candidate profile

- Must have strong knowledge of cars, engines and variants.

- Must have a valid Driving License with good driving skills.

- 4-9 years of experience as Car Evaluator / Auto Technician / Service Advisor preferred.

- Good communication, negotiation and customer handling skills.

- Basic knowledge of using mobile apps for evaluation.
