Roles and Responsibilities :

• Plan and execute daily shift operations in the furnace area, ensuring efficient melting of scrap metal.
• Monitor and control the temperature, flow rate, and quality of molten metal to meet production targets.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize furnace performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Job Requirements :

• 5-12 years of experience in metallurgy or related field (furnace operation).
• Strong understanding of SMS (Scrap Metal Specification) standards for melting processes.
• Ability to plan and coordinate shifts effectively using SMS systems.
