Looking For Technical Support Engineer (Windows & VMware)

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in Windows Administration and VMware technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to Windows environments and VMware infrastructure. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and VMware virtualization platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, connectivity, and application functionality.
• Monitor and maintain the health of Windows servers and VMware environments.
• Implement and manage system updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
• Document technical processes, procedures, and solutions for future reference.
• Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Windows and VMware best practices.
• Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Windows Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and server management.
• Proficient in VMware technologies, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving Windows-related issues.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Certifications in Windows or VMware technologies (e.g., MCSA, VCP) are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in technical support or system administration roles.
• Proven track record of managing and supporting Windows and VMware environments.
