Role & responsibilities

• Engage promptly with inbound leads.
• Conduct structured discovery conversations with prospects to understand their current situation and potential fit for TrusComp's services.
• Qualify leads based on defined criteria and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Hand off qualified opportunities to the senior BD team with relevant context and background.
• Nurture leads who are not yet ready through consistent and timely follow-up.
• Maintain CRM discipline; every conversation and interaction logged without exception.
• Share structured pipeline reports at defined intervals as per internal reporting requirements.
• Work closely with the digital marketing team to share feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.

Preferred candidate profile

The Pre-Sales Executive will be the first point of contact for prospective clients generated. The role is focused on engaging with prospects, understanding their business needs, and converting marketing leads into qualified sales opportunities for the senior BD team. This is a high-impact role where the right candidate will directly influence revenue generation.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Tamil. Working knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.
• Strong listening and probing skills with the ability to identify the real business need behind an enquiry.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior decision-makers in mid-size and large organisations.
• CRM discipline; must be comfortable logging every interaction in a CRM system.
• Self-organised with the ability to manage a high volume of leads without dropping follow-ups.
