Looker BI Developer Look ML Role & responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Looker.
• Design and build LookML models, views, explores, and dashboards based on business requirements.
• Create and manage data models to ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Develop reusable metrics, dimensions, and measures within LookML.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and governance across BI solutions.
• Integrate Looker with data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Monitor dashboard performance and implement optimization techniques.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues.
• Create scheduled reports, alerts, and automated data delivery solutions.
• Support users with ad hoc reporting and analytical requirements.
• Maintain documentation for data models, dashboards, and reporting processes.
• Follow BI best practices, security standards, and data access controls.
