Logistics Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end transportation and dispatch activities.
• Coordinate with transporters, customers, and internal departments for on-time deliveries.
• Handle customer communication and customer portal operations.
• Process orders and logistics transactions through SAP (SD Module).
• Ensure accurate invoice preparation and IRN generation.
• Monitor logistics documentation and compliance requirements.
• Track shipment status and resolve transportation-related issues.
• Maintain dispatch records, reports, and logistics MIS.
• Optimize transportation processes for efficiency and cost control.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and logistics standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8-10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP SD and logistics documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in both shopfloor and office environments.
