Job Title and Summary:

This entry-level position will assist in the daily operation of import shipments. A successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills will be comfortable learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review import documents and enter data accurately and promptly into the system.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients via phone and email.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, trucking companies, airlines, Customs, and other federal agencies.
• Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with regulations. Qualifications and Requirements:
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Basic computer proficiency (MacOS, Google Spreadsheets, email, and communication tools).
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• No prior brokerage experience required. Experience in freight forwarding or logistics is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Standard office environment using computers, phones, printers, and fax machines.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a desk.
• Regular use of speech, hearing, sight, and typing abilities.
