Job Overview

We are a fast-growing FMCG company expanding our supply chain operations across Europe. We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Logistics Operations Executive to join our international support team. This is a 100% Work-From-Home (WFH) role based in India, dedicated to supporting our logistics, transportation, and freight tracking ecosystem in Germany.

• Experience: Exactly 1 to 2 years in logistics operations, freight coordination, or route tracking support.
  
• Languages: High proficiency in English (written & spoken) AND fluent in both Hindi and Tamil (for daily internal team coordination).
  
• Technical: Intermediate MS Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas like SUM, AVERAGE, and basic tables).
  
• Setup: Must own a personal laptop/computer with a stable, high-speed home internet connection.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Freight Data Tracking: Maintain daily logs of vehicle tracking, distance covered (kilometres), and route expenses using company templates.
  
• Cost & Margin Metrics: Compile daily trip expenses, calculate basic cost-per-kilometre metrics, and enter data into Route Margin Reports.
  
• Real-Time Dispatch Monitoring: Remotely track driver adherence to planned routes via GPS/tracking tools, record transit delays, and flag route deviations.
  
• Transporter Compliance: Collect, review, and verify transporter compliance files, vehicle permits, insurance records, and dispatch paperwork.
  
• Escalation & Carrier Coordination: Coordinate between internal trucks, external transport carriers, and DPD parcel delivery services based on management guidelines and urgency matrices.
  
• Work Style: Strong numerical ability, high attention to detail, and comfort working independently in a remote environment.
