Logistics & Export Documentation Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate container bookings, truck placement, and shipment schedules with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transporters.
• Monitor yard loading, port cut-offs, documentation cut-offs, and vessel schedules to ensure timely shipments.
• Handle export documentation including SI, VGM, AES, B-13, COD, and other required filings.
• Coordinate with vendors for loading photos, reports, and shipment details.
• Obtain and negotiate freight rates with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Verify freight invoices and ensure accurate processing.
• Resolve shipment issues and coordinate for free-time extensions to avoid delays and additional costs.
• Ensure compliance with customs, shipping, and international export regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customs agents, transporters, vendors, and logistics partners.
• Maintain shipment tracking, logistics MIS, and performance reports for management.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of export documentation and international shipping procedures.
• Understanding of Incoterms, maritime logistics, customs regulations, and export compliance.
• Experience in freight negotiation and cost optimization.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
