About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Operations Executive to manage day-to-day logistics,
dispatch, reverse logistics, vendor coordination, data management, and team operations. The ideal candidate should be
comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with multiple vendors and internal teams, tracking
shipments, managing operational data, and resolving logistics-related issues.
1. Logistics & Dispatch Operations
Manage day-to-day dispatch and logistics operations.
Coordinate with courier, transport, and logistics partners for timely pickups and deliveries.
Plan and monitor shipments from dispatch to final delivery.
Track shipment status and ensure timely closure of pending deliveries.
¢ Coordinate with warehouses, internal teams, and delivery partners to ensure smooth operations.
2. Reverse Logistics / RVP
¢ Manage Reverse Logistics / RVP (Return/Reverse Pickup) operations.
¢ Coordinate return pickups from customers, schools, or locations and ensure timely movement of returned materials.
¢ Track return shipments and maintain proper records.
¢ Identify and resolve issues related to failed pickups, delays, shortages, damages, and incorrect returns.
¢ Coordinate with vendors for return-related escalations and closures.
3. Vendor Management
¢ Coordinate with logistics, courier, transport, and other operational vendors.
¢ Follow up with vendors for pickups, deliveries, returns, and pending shipments.
¢ Monitor vendor performance and turnaround time.
¢ Maintain vendor-related operational records and reports.
¢ Escalate recurring vendor issues and support process improvement.
¢ Assist in evaluating vendor performance, service quality, and cost effectiveness.
4. Data Management & MIS
¢ Maintain accurate daily logistics and operational data.
¢ Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, trackers, and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
¢ Monitor dispatches, deliveries, returns, pending shipments, RVP, and vendor performance.
¢ Ensure data accuracy and timely updating of trackers.
¢ Analyse operational data to identify delays, gaps, and improvement areas.
¢ Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and operational requirements.
5. Team Coordination

¢ Coordinate with Warehouse, Procurement, Sales, Finance, Customer Support, and Operations teams.
¢ Allocate and follow up on daily operational activities.
¢ Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks by the team.
¢ Maintain clear communication between internal teams and external vendors.
¢ Support the team in resolving day-to-day operational challenges.
6. Issue Resolution & Process Improvement
¢ Take ownership of logistics-related issues and drive them to closure.
¢ Resolve delivery delays, failed pickups, damages, shortages, and return-related issues.
¢ Identify recurring operational problems and recommend corrective actions.
¢ Support implementation of standard processes and improve operational efficiency.
¢ Maintain proper escalation and follow-up mechanisms.
Required Skills
¢ 23 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Dispatch, Operations, or Reverse Logistics.
¢ Good understanding of logistics and delivery operations.
¢ Hands-on experience in vendor and courier coordination.
¢ Good knowledge of Reverse Logistics / RVP processes.
¢ Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and data management ability.
¢ Good analytical and reporting skills.
¢ Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
¢ Ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
¢ Attention to detail and accuracy.
¢ Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with a team.
Preferred Skills
¢ Experience in e-commerce, education, publishing, warehouse, distribution, or FMCG logistics is an advantage.
¢ Experience handling high-volume dispatches and returns.
¢ Knowledge of logistics portals, shipment tracking systems, ERP/WMS, or similar operational tools.
¢ Basic understanding of logistics cost and vendor performance management.
