Logistics Executive

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Certification or practical training in Export-Import, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Required Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Export-Import, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Hands-on experience in shipment coordination, freight booking, customs coordination, and transport management.
• Experience handling domestic and international logistics operations will be preferred.
• Exposure to EU/UK/Ireland logistics and distribution operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MIS, documentation, and logistics tracking systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage logistics activities end-to-end, from rate sourcing and shipment planning to delivery and final closure.
• Source, compare, and negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHAs, transporters, and couriers.
• Coordinate export and import shipments, including NRG-to-NRG and third-party movements.
• Handle and verify key export-import and shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, Shipping Bills, CoO, GRN, and POD.
• Coordinate customs clearance, freight bookings, transport arrangements, and shipment schedules.
• Manage domestic, international, and intra-EU pallet/groupage movements as required.
• Coordinate warehouse loading/unloading and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Track shipment ETAs, delays, free time, demurrage, detention, shortages, damages, and claims.
• Coordinate with warehouses and internal teams to ensure timely GRN, POD, delivery acknowledgement, and shipment closure.
• Verify logistics invoices, shipment documents, approvals, and supporting records for accuracy.
• Maintain shipment-wise documentation, trackers, and daily logistics MIS.
• Follow up with logistics vendors and service providers to resolve operational and delivery-related issues.
• Escalate critical delays, compliance issues, unexpected costs, and operational risks to the reporting manager.
• Ensure adherence to internal approval processes, logistics policies, and cost-control requirements.
• Support smooth logistics operations across India, UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Export-Import, Freight Forwarding, Customs, Transportation, and Warehouse Operations.
• Knowledge of commercial shipping documents and shipment closure processes.
• Good understanding of freight costing, rate comparison, and vendor coordination.
• Strong MS Excel and MIS/reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and logistics documentation simultaneously.
