Logistics Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily dispatch and delivery activities.
• Coordinate with production, stores, purchase, sales, and customers for smooth material movement.
• Prepare and maintain dispatch documents, delivery challans, invoices, and transport documents.
• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability, loading, and timely delivery.
• Track vehicle movement and monitor delivery status.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials to customers and other locations.
• Maintain logistics records, vehicle details, and transporter documentation.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities and ensure proper material handling.
• Follow up on pending deliveries and resolve transportation-related issues.
• Verify transport bills, freight charges, and supporting documents.
• Maintain daily logistics reports and MIS.
• Ensure compliance with company logistics procedures and safety requirements.
• Coordinate inter-unit material transfers and maintain proper documentation.
• Support cost control and identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency.
• Handle customer and transporter queries related to dispatch and delivery.
• Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance for audit purposes.

Skills Required

• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Good follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
• Knowledge of GST/e-way bill and transport documentation is an advantage.
