Logistics / Dispatch Executive (Stock Maintenance)

The Logistics / Dispatch Executive is responsible for managing dispatch operations and maintaining accurate stock records. The role ensures timely delivery of goods, proper inventory control, and coordination between warehouse, transporters, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Logistics

• Plan and execute daily dispatches as per approved sales orders
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and warehouse staff
• Ensure timely loading, dispatch, and delivery of materials
• Prepare and verify dispatch documents (Invoice, LR, E-way Bill, Packing List, etc.)
• Track vehicle movement and confirm delivery status
• Handle delivery issues such as delays, shortages, or damages

Stock Maintenance & Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials and finished goods
• Update inward and outward stock entries in ERP / stock registers
• Conduct daily / weekly stock reconciliation with physical stock
• Monitor minimum stock levels and inform management for replenishment
• Identify stock variances, damages, or slow-moving inventory
• Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and storage of materials

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with production, sales, and accounts departments
• Submit dispatch reports, stock statements, and PODs regularly
• Support audits by providing stock and dispatch records

Required Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of logistics, dispatch, and inventory management
• Familiarity with GST, E-way bills, and transport documentation
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP systems preferred)
• Good communication and coordination skills

Qualification & Experience

• Any graduate / diploma (Logistics / Supply Chain preferred)
• 5 - 7 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, and stock maintenance
• Experience in manufacturing / warehouse operations preferred
