Logistics Assistant

As a Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the logistics department. Your role will involve inventory management, coordination of shipments, documentation, and ensuring smooth logistical processes to meet organizational goals.

Your responsibilities:

Maintain and monitor accurate records of inventory levels.

Receive and process purchase orders.

Prepare and pack orders for shipping.

Arrange transportation for outbound shipments.

Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.

Ensure proper documentation for both incoming and outgoing shipments.

Prepare shipping labels, invoices, and other required documents.

Maintain organized records of shipping and inventory documents.

Conduct quality checks on received and outgoing goods.

Report any damaged or defective items and initiate returns or exchanges.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace.

Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or storage area.

Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Skill sets/Experience we require:

Previous experience in logistics or a related field is a plus.

Knowledge of inventory management software and basic computer skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, if required.
