Shipping Logistics associate

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate shipments from dispatch to final delivery.

Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, AWB/BOL, and other required documentation.

Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, shortages, and delivery issues.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery status, freight costs, and logistics documentation.

Monitor freight and transportation costs and support cost optimization.

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable shipping/customs requirements.

Coordinate with warehouse, sales, procurement, finance, and customer service teams.

Prepare logistics reports and provide regular shipment updates to internal stakeholders.

Handle customer/vendor queries related to shipment status and delivery schedules.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.

Good knowledge of domestic/international shipping processes and documentation.

Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics/ERP systems.

Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Skills

Experience with import/export documentation and customs procedures.

Knowledge of Incoterms and freight processes.

Experience working with courier, freight forwarding, or transportation partners.

Analytical skills for tracking logistics costs and performance.
