About the Role

As a Local SEO Executive, your primary responsibility is to enhance the online visibility and performance of local businesses by optimizing their web presence for local search results. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement on-page optimizations, content strategies, and local SEO techniques aimed at increasing website traffic, search engine rankings, and conversion rates.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in Local SEO Best Practices: Demonstrate proficiency in local SEO strategies and techniques tailored to improve the visibility of businesses within specific geographic areas.
• Technical Local SEO Knowledge: Ability to identify and address technical SEO issues that impact local search rankings, ensuring optimal website performance and user experience.
• On-page Optimization for Local Traffic: Provide recommendations for on-page optimizations targeted at attracting local audiences and improving conversion rates for local businesses.
• Conducting Local Website Audits: Prepare comprehensive website audit reports using specialized local SEO tools such as Ahrefs and SEMrush to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for local optimization.
• Local Link Building Expertise: Identify high-quality local websites across various niches for effective link building strategies aimed at boosting local search visibility and authority.
• Proficient in Local Outreach: Ability to craft personalized outreach emails to local businesses and websites for collaboration opportunities, citations, and local link acquisition.
• Keyword Research for Local Markets: Utilize SEO tools to research and identify relevant keywords with local intent to optimize website content and local business listings.
• Performance Measurement and Reporting: Measure and analyze local SEO performance using tools like SEMrush and Google Analytics, generating reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaboration with Content Teams: Coordinate with content writers to develop high-quality, SEO-friendly content tailored to local audiences and optimized for local search intent.
• Adaptability to Changing Local SEO Trends: Stay updated on evolving local SEO trends and algorithm changes, adapting strategies and techniques accordingly to maintain and improve local search rankings.
• Effective Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
