Linux Server Administrator

We are looking for a skilled Linux Server Administrator with strong hands-on experience in Ubuntu Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, monitoring, and optimizing Linux-based infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance of production environments.

• Install, configure, and maintain Ubuntu Linux servers in production environments.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Docker containers and containerized applications.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters, including deployments, scaling, upgrades, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor server health, resource utilization, and application performance.
• Configure and maintain Nginx, Apache, and reverse proxy services.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using Bash or Python scripting.
• Manage system security, user access, SSH, firewalls, and security hardening.
• Troubleshoot server, network, storage, and application-related issues.
• Work closely with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and standard operating procedures.

• Strong experience with Ubuntu/Linux Server Administration
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container lifecycle management
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with Nginx or Apache web servers
• Strong understanding of Linux networking, DNS, SSH, TCP/IP, and firewalls
• Experience with Bash scripting or Python automation
• Knowledge of system monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with system backups, storage management, and log analysis

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with container runtimes such as containerd
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Loki, or Prometheus
• Understanding of SSL/TLS, Load Balancers, VPNs, and networking concepts
