Job Title: Linux Lead (Embedded Linux)

We are looking for an experienced Linux Lead with strong expertise in Embedded Linux, BSP development, Linux Kernel internals, and system integration . The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading Embedded Linux development activities, driving architecture decisions, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring successful product delivery.
Key Responsibilities - Lead Embedded Linux and BSP development activities for embedded products.
- Define technical architecture and provide direction for Linux-based platforms.
- Own end-to-end system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Design, develop, customize, and optimize Linux device drivers.
- Work on Linux kernel internals, kernel customization, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain build systems using Yocto and Buildroot .
- Perform complex system-level debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Develop shell scripts and contribute to kernel-level software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and application teams.
- Mentor engineers, conduct technical reviews, and drive engineering best practices.
- Interact with stakeholders and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- 8-12 years of experience in Embedded Linux development.
- Strong understanding of Linux Kernel Internals and BSP development.
- Expertise in Linux Device Driver Development and Optimization .
- Hands-on experience with Yocto and/or Buildroot .
- Strong knowledge of system integration and embedded software architecture.
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Linux development tools.
- Experience in system-level debugging, profiling, and performance tuning.
- Good understanding of embedded hardware platforms and boot processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with embedded networking, security, and middleware components.
- Knowledge of real-time Linux systems.
- Experience working with ARM-based platforms and SoCs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated build environments.
- Drive technical decisions and architecture discussions.
- Mentor and guide development teams.
- Review code, design documents, and technical solutions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
