Linux Administrator - Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support Linux/RHEL servers.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve system alerts.
• Handle user accounts, passwords, permissions, and ACLs.
• Assist with server patching and security updates.
• Perform basic tasks using Ansible.
• Support services such as SSH, DNS, NFS, Apache and Nginx.
• Monitor backup jobs and escalate failures.
• Maintain SOPs and technical documentation.
• Support Data Center, Wintel, Storage and Backup activities.
• Escalate complex issues to the L2 team.

Required Skills:

• Linux / RHEL
• Basic Linux troubleshooting
• Ansible
• Server monitoring
• Data Center / Infrastructure Support

Experience:

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as L1 engineer
