Linux Admin

Responsibilities

• Strong experience in Linux L2/L3 administration, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and operational support.
• Manage disks, file systems, storage, RAID, disk mirroring, user/group accounts, permissions, and system resources.
• Perform package management, OS patching, system hardening, log monitoring, alert management, and third-party software installation.
• Troubleshoot Linux server issues, analyze system alerts/logs, handle incidents and service requests, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Configure and support High Availability (HA), Active-Passive clusters, failover mechanisms, I/O fencing, and Disaster Recovery environments.
• Perform server backups, restoration, and recovery operations to ensure data availability and recoverability.
• Create and maintain Knowledge Base (KB) documentation, operational procedures, incident records, and support documentation.
• Provide L1/L2 technical support, mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
