- Experience in Linux Administration
- Experience in RedHat Enterprise Linux and Knowledge on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Linux
- Handson administration and operation of scalable IT infrastructures on both internal cloud vmware and physical environments
- Install and set up Linux systems and servers often for organization wide deployment
- Assist and troubleshoot client end users with system knowledge related to user authentication user management file configuration storage access backup and navigation through files
- Create monitor and review s generated by tools and systems and resolve based on SOP Notify L2L3 team for server application and database service based on thresholds defined in the system
- Set repository install update and remove packages
- Manage network printers file sharing NFS SAMBA Shell scripts
- Deploy configure maintain systems including software and core services
- Manage security including basic firewall security patch and Linux configuration optimization and hardening
- Create and configure file system and attributes such as permissions access controls list encryptions and network file system
- Manage file system permissions for users and groups create and apply policies
- Resolving server issues job scheduling and maintenance
- Operate running systems including booting into different run levels identifying processes start stop virtual machines and controlling services
- Configure local storage using logical volume manager LVM partitions and logical volumes
- Perform OS and application upgrades and server migrations to new environment

- Provide technical support for disaster recovery efforts
- Perform hardware and software technology refreshes ensuring milestone compliance while coordinating with MPs to minimize disruptions
- Work with and manage Incident Management tickets within help desk ticketing system
- Perform backup recovery functions for Linux server environments
- Experienced in the management of Enterprise Infrastructures and Systems including Linux RHEL CentOS Ubuntu Oracle Linux and SUSE Linux
- Linux troubleshooting skills during the migration phase and co ordination with multiple team
- Samba SNMP NTP PAM SSH NFS CIFS LVM ZFS Shell scripting Patching YUM IPS RPM package management SUDO Multipath SFTP DNS SAN NAS principles including hands on FC and iSCSI
