Line In Charge - Transmission

Job Objective:

To execute Transmission Line with required output, safety, and quality by managing ROW.

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Resource Management

• Lead and manage a team of engineers to achieve project objectives and desired outputs.
• Conduct regular project review meetings with stakeholders and counterparts.
• Identify training needs and facilitate periodic team development programs.
• Drive team performance through continuous safety and quality awareness initiatives.

Project Planning & Execution

• Review and implement project plans to achieve scheduled commissioning targets.
• Identify project bottlenecks and ensure timely resolution to avoid last-minute challenges.
• Plan and coordinate shutdowns, crossings, and other critical activities for timely execution.
• Monitor critical paths and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.

Quality Management

• Ensure implementation of quality requirements as per approved FQP, relevant IS Codes, CBIP Manuals, and project specifications.
• Conduct regular quality programs and awareness sessions at the site level.
• Monitor adherence to established quality standards throughout project execution.

Safety Management

• Ensure implementation of safety practices in line with organizational guidelines and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety programs and awareness initiatives for the project team.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.

Vendor & Contract Management

• Manage vendors effectively to avoid additional costs to the organization.
• Review and process vendor bills within stipulated timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Budget & Cost Control

• Monitor project budgets and control expenditures within approved limits.
• Ensure cost-effective execution while maintaining quality and schedule requirements.
• Track financial performance and report deviations to management.

MIS & Compliance Management

• Generate and submit periodic MIS reports as per management requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and organizational requirements to avoid penalties.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting for project activities.

Educational Qualification:

BE / B. Tech – Civil/Electrical/Mechanical.

Experiences:

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Transmission Line execution.
• Execution – Transmission Line.
• Knowledge of regulations and statutory approvals.
