Lighting Design Engineer - Data Centre & Industrial Plant

Role
We are looking for an experienced Lighting Design Engineer specializing in Data Centre and Industrial Plant lighting
design. The candidate should be able to independently develop complete lighting design packages from concept to
final deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Design lighting and emergency lighting layouts for Data Centres and Industrial Plants.
Develop DIALux/DIALux evo models and lighting calculations, including lux levels and uniformity.
Select suitable luminaires based on project requirements and environmental conditions.
Prepare lighting load calculations, circuiting, DB schedules and cable sizing.
Coordinate lighting layouts with HVAC, electrical, structural, process equipment and cable trays.
Prepare lighting layouts, luminaire schedules, calculations and other design deliverables.
Ensure designs comply with applicable IEC/IS/IES standards and client specifications.
Review drawings, resolve design clashes and incorporate client/project comments.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in DIALux/DIALux evo.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Practical experience in Data Centre & Industrial Plant lighting design.
Good knowledge of lighting calculations, emergency lighting and electrical design.
Good understanding of multidisciplinary coordination.
Experience with Revit/BIM or Navisworks is an advantage.
Ideal Candidate
A self-driven engineer who can independently deliver: Design Inputs-Luminaire Selection-DIALux Calculation-Lighting Layout-Circuiting-Load Calculation-Coordination-Final Deliverables.
Candidates with only drafting experience and no hands-on DIALux/design experience will not be preferred.
