We are looking for a dedicated and student-focused Lighthouse Mentor to guide and mentor aspirants preparing for Design Entrance Exams, including NIFT and other leading design entrance examinations.
The mentor will act as a dedicated point of contact for students, helping them identify their areas of improvement, stay on track with their preparation, and receive the right academic and strategic guidance throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities - Mentor and guide students preparing for NIFT and other Design Entrance Exams.
- Understand individual students academic and preparation-related challenges and provide suitable guidance.
- Track students progress and ensure consistent follow-ups.
- Help students identify weak areas and suggest appropriate resources, practice strategies, and improvement plans.
- Conduct regular one-on-one or group mentoring sessions.
- Coordinate with faculty/academic teams to address student concerns effectively.
- Motivate students and maintain regular engagement throughout their preparation journey.
- Maintain records of student interactions, progress, and key concerns.
- Support students with exam-related guidance, preparation strategies, and overall academic planning.
- Bachelors degree in Design / B.Des from NIFT/NID is mandatory.
- Candidates with a strong understanding of NIFT and Design Entrance Exams will be preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of the design entrance exam preparation process.
- Ability to build rapport with students and provide consistent academic support.
- Student-oriented and approachable personality.
- Strong ownership and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand students concerns and provide practical guidance.
- Passion for mentoring and helping students achieve their academic goals.
