Job Summary

Trans ACNR Solutions is looking for a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to handle the servicing, repair, and maintenance of cars, vans, and other light motor vehicles. The candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical repairs, fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, repair, and maintenance of cars, vans, and other light motor vehicles.
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical faults in engines, gearboxes, clutches, brakes, suspension, steering, and transmission systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Inspect vehicle components and replace or repair damaged or worn-out parts.
• Perform vehicle air-conditioning inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair, wherever required.
• Use appropriate tools, diagnostic equipment, and workshop machinery for repair activities.
• Ensure timely completion of repair work while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Maintain service records, job cards, and maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with service supervisors and team members regarding repair activities and spare parts requirements.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in light vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of automotive mechanical systems and vehicle components.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of mechanical tools and workshop equipment.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and air-conditioning systems is an advantage.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Motor Mechanic, Automobile, Diesel Mechanic, or a related trade.
• Relevant experience in light vehicle servicing and repair preferred.
