Life Asia Software Tester

Unistanz Software Pvt Ltd is seeking a Software Tester with strong expertise in Life Asia/ ingenium and hands-on experience with Day 1 or Day 2 processes, New Business, and product launch and implementation.

The role requires proficiency in insurance product calculations such as premium, policy issuance, surrender value, bonus, maturity, and death benefit, ensuring accurate validation during UAT testing and defect management.

Location: Lower Parel/ Chinchpokli

Experience: 2 to 5 years

Key Requirement

• Only Candidates with hands-on Life Asia/Ingenium experience, along with relevant Life Insurance domain experience with calculations, will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows.
• Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, System, Sanity, and Smoke Testing.
• Work extensively on Life Asia applications/modules and validate insurance-related business processes.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in requirements analysis and provide input from a testing perspective.
• Perform end-to-end testing of insurance applications.
• Conduct regression testing after fixes and application enhancements.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status and defects to stakeholders.
• Ensure testing activities are completed within defined timelines and quality standards.

Mandatory Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Strong hands-on experience with Life Asia/ Ingenium and calculations.
• Prior experience in the Life Insurance domain is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working on large-scale Life Insurance applications.
• Good understanding of insurance products, policy flow, claims, and related workflows.
