2. Help students, teachers, researchers, and other users find books and information.
3. Arrange books and materials accounting to the library classification system and keep shelves organized.
4. Update records of books, memberships, loans, returns, and overdue materials.
5. Assist with entering and updating bibliography details of books and other resources.
6. Guide users in locating information through catalogues, databases, reference books, and other resources.
7. Help receive, label, stamp, cover, and prepare new books for circulation.
8. Track overdue books and remind students and faculty to return them.
9. Assist in periodic stock verification and identify missing or damaged Books and Journals.
10. Keep the library, reading areas, shelves, and materials clean, orderly, and accessible.
11. Help users access library computers, online catalogues, e-books, databases, and other digital resources.
12. Assist the Librarian in preparing reports, maintain statistics, handle routine correspondence, and other daily tasks.
13. Protect library materials from loss or damage and follow proper procedures for preservation.
14. Assist with exhibitions, reading programs, workshops, events, and other library activities.
