Position: Liaison Manager

Role Purpose

To manage and expedite all statutory approvals and regulatory clearances for real estate projects by coordinating with government authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and facilitating smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain statutory approvals, permissions, NOCs, and clearances from government and local authorities.
• Liaise with Urban Development (UD), MCGM, MHADA, SRA, Collector Office, Revenue Authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with Development Plan (DP), Development Control & Promotion Regulations (DCPR/DCR), and other applicable regulations.
• Prepare and monitor approval schedules, approval flow charts, and project timelines.
• Prepare approval budgets, cash flows, and cost estimates related to statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, legal teams, project teams, and government officials to ensure timely approvals.
• Monitor changes in government regulations and assess their impact on ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Support land acquisition activities and conduct due diligence related to approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong working relationships with key government authorities and stakeholders.
• Track approval status and provide regular updates to management.

Qualifications

• B.E. (Civil) / B.Arch / MBA
• Additional qualifications in Urban Planning, Real Estate, or Project Management will be an advantage.

Experience

• 10-15 years of liaison experience in real estate projects.
• Proven experience in handling approvals for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and redevelopment projects.
• Strong network and working relationships with Urban Development and local authorities.
