Liaisoning Architect

Roles & Responsibility :

• Handle liaisoning and approval processes for residential and commercial real estate projects.
• Coordinate with MCGM/BMC, MHADA, SRA, MMRDA, UDA/Planning Authorities, Fire Department, Airport Authority and other relevant statutory authorities.
• Prepare, submit and follow up on building plans, development proposals, revised plans and statutory documents.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, project teams and legal teams for obtaining necessary approvals.
• Manage applications and documentation for IOD, CC, OC, NOC, commencement-related approvals and other statutory permissions.
• Review drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable development control regulations, building bye-laws and planning requirements.
• Track approval status, identify bottlenecks and ensure timely follow-up with concerned authorities.
• Attend meetings with government officials and authorities on behalf of the organization/project.
• Maintain proper records of submissions, approvals, correspondence, NOCs and statutory documents.
• Coordinate with external liaison consultants and ensure timely deliverables.
• Provide inputs to the design and project teams regarding approval requirements and regulatory constraints.
• Keep track of changes in development regulations, municipal processes and statutory requirements affecting projects.
• Support the project team during inspections and site visits conducted by statutory authorities.
• Ensure that all approval-related activities are properly documented and completed within project timelines.

Required Skills :

• Strong experience in architectural liaisoning and statutory approvals, preferably for residential/commercial high-rise projects.
• Good working knowledge of Mumbai development regulations and approval processes.
• Experience dealing with BMC/MCGM and other Mumbai statutory authorities will be preferred.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, development proposals and approval documentation.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and stakeholder management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/approvals simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of relevant online approval/municipal portals will be an advantage.
