Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Unity Level Designer / Environment Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating immersive and visually engaging environments, optimizing game assets for performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality interactive experiences.

Key Responsibilities Set up lighting, environmental effects, and scene elements to enhance visual quality and player immersion. Design, build, and optimize levels and environments within Unity. Ensure scenes and assets are optimized for performance across multiple platforms and devices. Collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to implement engaging and interactive gameplay experiences. Integrate assets, prefabs, lighting, and visual effects into Unity projects. Conduct testing and debugging of levels and environments to identify and resolve issues. Refine and improve game levels based on team feedback, user testing, and performance metrics. Maintain visual consistency and adhere to project art direction and technical requirements. Troubleshoot technical issues related to environment design and scene performance. Stay updated with industry trends, Unity features, and best practices in level design and optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field. Proficiency in Unity Engine and level-building workflows. Strong understanding of lighting, scene composition, environmental storytelling, and player experience. Knowledge of optimization techniques for mobile, PC, and/or VR platforms. Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max is an added advantage. Experience with asset integration, prefabs, materials, and shaders in Unity. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working on game development, simulation, AR/VR, or interactive media projects. Understanding of user experience (UX) principles in interactive environments. Portfolio demonstrating level design, environment art, or Unity-based projects.
