About the Role

ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a results-driven Leisure Sales Manager to grow leisure sales and develop strategic trade partnerships across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leisure sales, or trade partnerships, account management, and business development within the DACH market. Fluency in German and English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow leisure revenue across the DACH market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tour operators, agencies, online agencies (OTAs), and destination management companies (DMCs).
• Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential trade partners.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with trade partners.
• Manage existing accounts, strengthen partnerships, and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and workshops.
• Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to achieve sales objectives.
• Prepare sales reports, revenue forecasts, and market performance analyses.
• Deliver presentations and training sessions to trade partners.
• Monitor competitor activities and developments in the DACH leisure market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in leisure sales, trade partnerships, or industry business development.
• Strong understanding of the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business.
• Experience managing relationships with tour operators, agencies, OTAs, or DMCs.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to internationally as required.

Preferred Skills

• Existing contacts within the DACH trade industry.
• Additional proficiency in French or Italian.
• Experience with property management systems (PMS).
• Experience working in international or multicultural environments.
