About the Role
We are looking for a fresh law graduate to join our Legal Department as a Legal Trainee. The candidate will work under the guidance of senior members of the Legal Department and assist with legal research, drafting, review of legal documents and other legal assignments as required.
This is a trainee position and not an internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in legal research and analysis of applicable laws, regulations and judgments.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal notices, letters, agreements and other legal documents.
- Assist in handling and organising legal and litigation-related matters.
- Support the Legal Department in other legal assignments as required.
Eligibility & Key Skills
- Bachelors in Law (LLB) degree is mandatory. Candidates who are still pursuing/appearing for LL.B. will not be considered.
- Fresh law graduates only.
- Minimum 60% marks in LL.B. and passed in the first attempt.
- Good understanding of legal concepts and principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand and adapt to new assignments.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work within timelines.
- Knowledge of Marathi - speaking and reading - will be preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
